Man Mission by Eytan Uliel Is a story of four men who are friends that explore the world in wild adventures in what they called Man Mission. The main character and his friends Sam, Alec and Daniel have been friends for a long time, they go through these adventures to express their manliness and also an escape from the reality of life. For fifteen years, it became a ritual for them. They travel around the world to countries like New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, South Africa, South Korea and other countries. They engage in activity of kayaking, hiking, biking and other activities to test their limit. As they become older and with each expedition comes different challenges in their lives, ranging from their marriage, jobs, kids and the woes inside them. Will this break them apart as friends? What will happen to Man Mission? Read this intriguing story to find out.

Man Mission is a thought-provoking story that centers on friendship. The story is narrated through the eye of the main character. Eytan Uliel's writing style in developing each of these characters is unique. I felt empathy for all the characters, especially the protagonist. His challenges in trying to please everyone and also fill the void he felt inside him. I could relate to his pain of having everything, a good job, wife, kids friends but still unhappy and trying to find his purpose as a man. The story reflects on the concept of a man in society. How the world views them and what the world created them to become. Eytan Uliel's book is an eye-opener of what it takes to be a man in today's world, which numerous people are ignorant of. I came to understand and appreciate the men in my life.

What I loved most about this book is the ability to have vivid imagery of these four friends' voyages. The author's creativity in weaving the story, making it seem like it's happening right in front of me, is commendable. I felt like I was travelling among them. The detailed description of the places they travelled to made me feel like I am there already. I admire their determination in each of their expedition even when they sustain an injury or have any bad experience they persist.

I also love the friendship between the main character, Sam, Daniel, and Alec. They share a genuine love, and they are supportive of each other. I enjoyed the humor in the book. I had a good laugh when reading this book, one of which is that any adventure these men want to embark on they will ask permission from what they call “the wives community.” I also felt their fear, pain, and struggle.

There is nothing I dislike about the book. It's an educative book full of insights and has strong themes that leave readers to ponder on. The diction is clear that readers can easily grasp. The dialogue was well woven. Although they were many profanities in the book that will be of dislike to some readers, personally it made it a fun read for me.

The book is professionally edited. The editor did a good job on this book. I would recommend this book to mature readers and young adults. Readers who love travelogue would also enjoy this story. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because it's a story full of life lessons on marriage, friendship, children, career, and the world of men.

This appears to be a story of friendship and they are going to visit different places is itself is indication of learning about various cultures and societies in the world. We have to go through to book as how they are able to do that maintaining their personal family lives back home. Thanks for a precise review.

Being a man in today's world is not an easy feat especially how the world sees them as unbeatable and cannot be vulnerable not knowing that men also cry. I love your review.
