Mister Pushkin Turns Over a New Leaf by AC Michael is the second book in the Tales of Mister Pushkin series. With his entertaining personality, Mister Pushkin is back again, getting into numerous troubles that would make any reader laugh. This second installment consists of twelve tales, all set in the autumn season.

Follow the adventures of mister Pushkin and his hilarious but relatable antics as he tries to navigate through the human world. Will Klem, his charming owner, get tired of putting up with Mister Pushkin and cut off his Salmon intake? Or Would Mister Pushkin do something unexpected that would make his human adore him even more?

I’ve never expected in a million years that I would ever relate to a lazy, and most of the time, crazy cat. Mister Pushkin’s habit perfectly encapsulates a cat who doesn’t care about his surroundings unless it directly affects him. However, what’s different with Mister Pushkin is that he is emphatic towards other creatures.

At first, I thought this was a kind of book that children from six to eight years old would love. However, as I got into the stories, I realized that it’s something anyone would enjoy because I’m not lying when I say that this is genuinely funny. Mister Pushkin is like a teenager who turned into a cat. He has that dry humor that teenagers and adults find funny. He is also the kind of teenager that doesn't want to be bothered, and of course, he has the usual behaviors of cats.

I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It was exceptionally edited. This is the first time in a while that I, as an adult, genuinely enjoyed a children’s book. It’s hilariously chaotic, and there is a moral lesson regarding empathy towards other creatures.

I would recommend this to people of any age. Children and adults alike would enjoy reading this short but entertaining book.
