Man Mission is a travel adventure book written by Eytan Uliel. The book chronicles Eytan and his friend's global travel adventures, which they refer to as man missions. Sam and Eytan are the original members of the travel group. However, Daniel and Alec join them later on. The book is moderately lengthy as it is 362 pages long. It contains fifteen chapters grouped into three sections (beginning, middle, and end). Each chapter of the book details a man mission in a different location. Anyone who reads this book is bound to catch a case of wanderlust.

What initially drew me to Man Mission was the cover. The design is catchy and relevant to the content of the book. I love how well written and well described this book is. I was able to visualize some things, and at times it also felt like I was there with the guys experiencing everything. For instance, I felt as spooked and scared as the guys must have been when the author described the shark incident in Fiji.

Another thing I love is the inclusion of maps. The author includes world and continental maps at the start of the book and the beginning of each chapter. The maps showcase the locations of all the man missions and have small drawings of the activities that occurred. Also, I love that at the end of each chapter the author includes vital statistics that indicate the country, location, mode of transport, distance covered, time taken, accommodation, and injuries sustained. It provides a sort of brief analysis of what happened on each trip.

I love that the author also includes what is going on in the personal lives of each man mission member. I was more invested in reading because it made everything more relatable. It also made the book more balanced. The book starts with Eytan and his friends in their twenties. Throughout the man missions, they make many milestones such as getting new jobs, marrying and having children. I love that the book showcases the challenges people face in adulting, marriage, and finding happiness.

I must commend the author for writing this masterpiece. I know writing Man Mission must not have been easy given the time that went by and reliving both good and bad memories. I appreciate the effort that went into making this book. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book. Finishing the book was bittersweet because I wanted the adventure to continue. I did not come across anything that displeased me while reading. I only have good things to say about Man Mission, and I am sure I will be recommending it to my friends.

I will be giving Man Mission an overall score of 4 out of 4 stars. I gave this rating because of how much I enjoyed reading this book. Not only is Man Mission well written, but the story is captivating too. I did not come across any errors while reading. Therefore, it is safe to say the book is well edited. I also did not come across anything that I found displeasing while reading. Therefore, there was nothing that warranted a star deduction.

I think Man Mission will be perfect for readers who enjoy reading books about travel. I would also recommend it to readers who enjoy nonfiction in general. I do not think this book is appropriate for young adult readers because it is appropriate for a more mature audience.
