The Party Line is an intriguing science fiction book by Dennis D. Gagnon. This is a story of an aged man who takes us back to 1971 during his youth years. As a young boy of 17 years, he attempts to contact space aliens. It is through this process that he discovers the party-line theory of consciousness. This theory states that all sentient beings are involved in unconscious communication with each other through extrasensory means. However, his adventure brings calamities and misfortunes along the way. His best friend ends up being killed by a monster. Later on, his best friend comes back as a ghost and introduces his girlfriend. The three form a team and decide to take revenge. They embark on a journey with a mission to destroy the evil monster. Will they succeed in their mission?

This book is written from the author’s perspective. I liked how the author vividly describes the events and how he paints a clear picture of occurrences in this book. This helps a reader to clearly understand everything happening in the ethereal world as the story unfolds. I was able to e every scene as narrated by the author. I also liked the simplicity of the language used by the author of this book. I found the language easy to read and comprehend. The presentation of the characters was also good. I was able to visualize their nature and appearances. Additionally, the author did his research well before writing this book. This is because there was a smooth flow of events throughout.

I did not find anything to dislike about this book. Although I was a little bit confused when reading the first few pages, I later came to enjoy the book after understanding what party-line the theory of consciousness entails. I believe philosophers can be able to understand this theory much faster than I.

I give this book 4 out of 4 stars. I gave this book this rating because it was professionally edited, enjoyable and adventurous. I believe this book deserves 4 out of 4 stars because I could not find any good reason to give it a lower rating. The book is just perfect and amazing.

I would like to recommend this book to people who enjoy reading science fiction books. Those who like philosophy, adventure, action, and horror will also enjoy reading it. I had a beautiful experience while reading this book.
