Sometimes what we need in our lives is a little spice of fun, just to get away from the hardship, day-to-day rat race, and problems in our lives. Keep in mind that at the end of it all, there's only ever going to be one person capable of fixing our lives—us.

Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a fictional book giving us the story of four men, who when they were in their youth founded a yearly travel adventure they titled "Man Mission". Despite the struggles they had in their lives as they each got married and started families of their own, they always went on their travel adventure, which lasted a whole week or more. Their adventures kept on for fifteen years having hiked, trekked, Kayaked, biked, and paddled through various countries like New Zealand, Japan, Australia, Korea, Peru, and eight other countries. As time went on and they grew older, they each realized what being a man is all about. They encountered so many hurdles in the way of their marriages, careers, and even personal life that man mission became part of their yearly schedule, just to get away, engage in the adventures with their rules to guide them. It also turned out to be a means where they each shared their struggles, confided in each other, and received encouragement.

While reading this book, I felt so many emotions all at once. This book is capable of making one reflect on his or her own life. It teaches us that there's nothing like true friendship in this world. Because when you're down, those true friends would always be there to lift you up or maybe make fun of you sometimes. But despite it all, having that awareness that they'll forever have your back is priceless.

I also was exposed to the dark truth that "there's more than meets the eyes". We often complain about how things go wrong in our lives to whoever is willing to give a listening ear, forgetting that they're humans too and face their challenges. Just like how the main character looked up to his friend Daniel, all the while thinking he had a perfect marriage till he opened up.

In all, this book is a masterpiece. It displayed themes of love, friendship, trust, betrayal, marital struggles, adventure and so many more. It's neither fast nor slow-paced. The author gave his best to capture the yearly travels of these four individuals while tucking their individual lives in-between. The characters were all developed, giving readers a chance to bond and relate with each character, which I found exciting. Moreover, I found nothing to hate about this book, for it's a book that teaches the experience and other little life lessons.

Finally, I rate Man mission 4 out of 4 stars. It's a great read and a masterpiece, having no display of typos. I found no single typo in this book, therefore, making it professionally edited. I recommend this book to lovers of fiction, those who love adventure, those coming of age, and those who are in search of life lessons. This book contains profanities, so I wouldn't recommend it to the young audience.
