Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat is the seventh book in the Inca Cat Detective series. The book is about a nosy cat detective named Inca and her band of furry co-detectives. Inca and her furry family accompany their owner, Mom, on a holiday to a beach cottage on the island of Sri Lanka, in a seaside village named Galle.

At the cottage, they play and laze about on the beach all day and enjoy the sun and waves. They become friends with a sea turtle named Rani, a baby elephant named Meena, and her mama. Their friend, Terrance, and his owner, Solo, soon joins them. Solo is a detective who's trying to solve a case on a stolen sword from a local museum. Together, the detective agency and their new friends all set out to solve this mystery.

I loved reading this book. The illustrations are fun and delightful as always, and the plot is effortless for children to read and assimilate. The plot doesn't become stale at any point during the course of the story. I love how R.F. Kristi included some details about Sri Lanka, such as the fact that they have beautiful temples and caves with centuries-old drawings. She also stated that they possess more than two thousand years of culture and have eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There wasn't anything I hated about this book.

I give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. The illustrations, the simple plot, and the details she added about the country are some of the things that contributed to the final rating. I also found a few errors while I read this book.

I would recommend this book to children between the ages of five and ten, as they will find this book delightful to read. This book will serve as a great bedtime storybook. It can also be used in primary schools.
