Create the Life You Want by Reymond P. Gerson is a book written to motivate and help guide others to find fulfillment in their lives. The book focuses on four main subjects; career, purpose, relationship, and contribution. It gives suggestions and tips on how to find your dream career, your purpose in life, how to build the perfect relationship, and ways to positively impact the world. In each section, Reymond P. Gerson includes a personal story, encouraging words, and easy-to-understand illustrations.

I enjoyed this book and was left with a lot to think about after it. I like that at the end of each chapter there was a summary and a list of questions related to the chapter for you to ask yourself. I was left feeling inspired and motivated to conquer life’s challenges. I think this book would be a great way to uplift someone or even yourself when filling stuck in life. Reymond P. Gerson did a wonderful job writing this book. The tips and suggestions were practical, realistic, and were things anyone could do. I appreciated that Gerson’s personal stories weren’t over the top or boastful.

I don’t have anything negative to say except I wish Reymond P. Gerson had included all of his sources. In the book, there were many studies brought up, however, only a handful of these studies contained where they originated from. I would have liked to go further into these studies but had a hard time finding them. Other than that I think the book was well written.

With that being said, I would rate Create the Life You Want a 4 out of 4. I didn’t find any errors, the book was easy to follow and inspiring. Some words might require some people to have to look up the definitions. I know for myself, I had to look up a couple of words. This could just have been me but I thought it was worth mentioning.

If you’re someone who likes motivational books I recommend looking into Create the Life You Want.[/i} I suggest teens and up consider reading this book. The book doesn’t contain anything unsuitable for a younger audience if they were to want to read the book as well. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who doesn’t care for books that contain religious content. Reymond P. Gerson does bring up his religion throughout Create the Life You Want.
