Terms of Service : Subject to Change Without Notice by Craig W. Stanfill is a sci-fi novel regarding a corporation that fully controls all aspects of individual life using coercion. Kim is a protagonist in this novel. She is an employee at the Artificial Intelligence Company. Her duties at this company included training artificial beings that were non-responsive and unconscious. She was a dedicated and hard-working individual because she always carried out all her duties and tasks exceptionally well with the hope of getting a promotion. Artificial Intelligence Company was not only Kim's employer but it was also a corporate tyranny. The company controlled every aspect of Kim's life from where she lived, the colour of her clothes, her food choices and entertainment preferences to who she has sex with. Later on the novel Kim embarks on a journey to free herself from this corporate tyranny upon realising she has been stripped off her human right to privacy and her freedom.

I love how Craig W. Stanfill sold us as readers a desirable fantasy of the amazing privileges that comes with being part of a society that lives in a world that is dominated by artificial intelligence. A world that comes with perks such as having machinery and robots that perform certain human tasks such as house chores but require no compensation. And for him to later in the novel end our day dreaming as we unpack that there is compensation for these perks and the compensation is one's humanity, privacy and freedom.

Terms of Service is an amazing, captivating and smooth flowing science fiction novel. In brief it is a page- turner. I disliked nothing about the book. The novel is exceptionally edited as it has no grammatical errors. Therefore I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars .

I recommend the book to anyone who loves fiction and science. The novel expatiates an image of what a world dominated by artificial intelligence would look like so I also recommend the book to anyone who would love to trigger their imaginations and get a clear picture of a fantasised world whereby artificial intelligence is a major chunk of human lives. But I do not recommend the book to kids as it also has sexual content.

The sci-fi genre is not normally my interest, but the theme of convenience vs. sacrifices with the use of AI is intriguing. Real technology today is already limiting everyday users of their privacy. Great review!
