The need to train our kids to get accustomed to reading cannot be overemphasized. There are lots of advantages associated with reading, especially for kids. Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi is one amazing children’s book. This book opens kids' minds to actual reality. Personally, I would say this book is a children’s book that adults would find interesting to read.

Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi is the seventh book in the Inca Cat Detective Series. This book began with Inca introducing us to his family and then to his detective agency, Inca & Company. Inca described in detail the series of adventures that unfolded during their holiday in Sri Lanka. Read to find out about Rani, Meena, and Mama Elephant. You wouldn’t want to miss out on Inca’s experience with the scary python and Leopard, his distant relative. Would you like to find out more about the new recruits to the profession? A valuable old antique sword has been stolen from the main museum in Colombo and there is a need to recover this sword before the criminals take it out of the country. Did the thieves steal only the sword? Read to find out what Inca’s detective company did to recover these stolen items.

Personally, I would say this book is fun, interesting, and provides a great deal of value not just to kids, but adults also. This book comes with so many lessons for kids. I love the character development. The relationship between these animals and their human families would build the minds of children to value family, positive friendships, and pets. The author did a good job of trying to make this book as realistic as possible. Animals communicate with and understand each other. Although humans perceive this communication as sounds, such as the barking of dogs and the meowing of cats, they use these sounds to pass information. From this book, I came to know more about Sri Lanka and Anuradhapura.

After reading this book, there was nothing I disliked about it. I did not notice anything negative about this book. I love the fact that the author used simple sentences to write this book, so these kids can easily understand it. The author did well to include colorful pictures in this book. These will help keep the minds of kids focused while reading.

I will rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. This book was exceptionally well edited. I recommend this book to all children who love reading and anyone who enjoys reading children’s books.
