[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
Do you know the perks of being in a friend group? Well, for me, it is being able to try crazy and fun stuff together. Man Mission by Eytan Uliel describes the adventures of a group of four men affiliated by friendship.
The narrator and his friends, during their college days, had always discussed how they would travel the world and explore. Life happened, and they had to focus on their realities. A few years later, they still found themselves together as good friends. The biggest disappointment was that they had forgotten their plans and were engrossed in building their careers alongside their love lives. Later on, they recalled their past and, thus, decided to come up with a plan. Is the mission going to become a success? Will the group of friends encounter hindrances on their adventures? Will their lives remain the same way after their adventure?
The most pleasurable thing about this book was experiencing it as though I was having a conversation with a friend. The author kept it simple and interesting. The jokes always had me in fits of laughter, especially since it was a book centered on four male friends. The witty comments they directed to each other were expected. The author also included a map containing the locations they visited for every adventure. The map made the book even more fun to read. And if you study the map for a moment, you’d discover that every location indicated was made reference to in the consequent adventure. This book was purely humorous and thrilling. The author showed creativity at every turn. So I can confidently say I enjoyed every bit of it.
The book gave me a quick reality check. Life may never give you the chance to do the things that you may have previously planned to do; it is only left for you to boldly take action towards your heart's desires. The group of friends almost got completely absorbed into life that they forgot to live. There was nothing to dislike about this book; the author did a great job writing such a thrilling book, and it was exceptionally edited.
The book deserves a rating of four out of four stars, and the reasons are evident. I stated earlier that the book was exceptionally edited, and I enjoyed reading it. If you like books about friendship, travels, and adventures, you’d love to read this one too.
