Review of Bitcoin Answered
[Following is a volunteer review of "Bitcoin Answered" by Jon Law.]
The other night, my brother was talking about investments during a family dinner. Investing in bitcoin fascinated him and he suggested that I do the same. The explanations my brother offered puzzled me and I promised to think about it. As I was browsing the review options, I noticed a book titled Bitcoin: Answered A Beginner's Guide to Everything Bitcoin written by Jon Law and Alan John. The reason I thought it was okay is that I am a science professional and am not too familiar with finance, stocks, and investments. Nonetheless, this book proved that these topics can be easily understood when presented in an accessible manner.
This book is for those who are unfamiliar with bitcoin or have some doubts about the subject. It begins with what bitcoin is, goes through its history, and explains how this works. Gradually, it moves on to topics such as wallets, bitcoin mining, its transactions, the risks involved, and the advantages. Graphs, maps, flowcharts, and pie charts help explain concepts in a visual way so that they are easy to understand and retain.
Moreover, it helps clear beginner's doubts on matters such as whether it is a scam, whether it can be hacked, how to trade, and many other related issues. Even though it explains these topics, the authors managed to not drag the chapters and helped us decode this field of cryptocurrency.
One thing I really liked about this book is that it clarified everything I was worried about, doubted, and questioned regarding the topic of cryptocurrency and bitcoin. The book did a good job explaining the concepts and terminology in a clear, straightforward manner. In the book, the pros and cons, advantages and risks associated with this investment are spelled out clearly. There was nothing to dislike in this book.
The book has been professionally edited and thoroughly proofread. The book displays no grammatical errors. There are no swear words or sex scenes in this book. This book is written in an easy language, ensuring that even those without any prior knowledge of finances or cryptocurrencies can understand it. The chapters in this book are primarily one-page and have headings that are typically those of questions asked after reading a previous chapter, providing a gradual flow throughout.
The book Bitcoin: Answered A Beginner's Guide to Everything Bitcoin by Jon Law and Alan John earns four out of four stars from me, for its simple explanation of Bitcoin, one of the most popular cryptocurrencies.
