Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a tale of friendship, loyalty, and faithfulness that has existed for many years among four men. These friends decided to always take a trip and be by themselves for at least five days every year. In the book, the author recounts major events that occurred during the first fifteen annual vacations they organized for themselves. They visited different countries like Japan, Iceland, and South Africa and faced various dangers like wild animals, drug peddlers, and near-drowning experiences during those times. The program of events for each trip always included physically exerting activities like cycling for at least 220 miles and hiking. The highlights of each trip are filled with very interesting details about the places they went to. Particularly exciting to me is the aurora that was seen in Iceland.

I enjoyed the stories about their personal lives too. The ideas of the relationship playbook and the pink bracelet were amusing to me. Also, the author’s boldness in sharing intimate details of his life in this book is commendable because valuable lessons can be learned from them. Daniel and Pamela are my favorite characters. I would like to possess Daniel’s ability to organize things and Pamela’s easy-going nature and willingness to take risks.

I didn’t dislike anything about the book. I only disapproved of the mission rule that bathing every day wasn't compulsory for the men. Furthermore, I also felt that if the friends hadn't been so silent about their domestic affairs, some of their marriage problems would have been averted. Although many men are groomed to bottle their emotions and 'act like a man', I believe that it’s okay for a man to cry in public when he feels like doing so. It was sad to read about how things turned out between Rachel and Eytan. However, I choose not to blame any of them because everyone has their strengths and weaknesses.

I give this book the excellent rating of 4 out of 4 stars because of its captivating plot. It also deserves it because it was properly edited. I like the way the author seamlessly wove two tales together.

The book will be liked by people who love adventures. It also contains timeless lessons on marriage and relationships for couples, especially husbands. In my opinion, no one that reads the book will dislike it. However, some expressions used by the men may be disapproved of by some immature minds.
