Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is the eighth book in the Inca Cat Detective series by R.F. Kristi. This unique children's book features adventure, friendship, thrilling events, teamwork and many more.

While Inca, her family and detective friends were admiring a beautiful painting and sharing a meal in solo's mansion, they got exciting news of their mom being selected as one of the judges for a competition and a chance to present her special cheese in South Korea. After solving a case of a missing cheese box, they met up with their tour guide Ye-Jun, who invited them to live with him and his dog, Baram, a white Korean Jindo. Finding out that Ye-Jun felt lonely without his sister, as he couldn't reach out to her due to the North and South borders, the gang took it upon themselves to help him reunite with his family. Find out if their mom will be successful in her new cheese creation and if the gang will successfully reunite Ye-Jun with his family.

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is fun to read and quite an educative book. The author gave a perfect and successful description of the characters and their different and unique personalities. The visual or pictorial representation of the characters and actions in the book made it engaging and more understandable. The author gave us a peek into South Korea, from the environment, the food and the scenery to the comfort adding to the adventure part of the book.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this book. I couldn’t stop reading as I loved every part of the book. There are lessons to be learned which is an important part of the book, seeing as it is a children's book. The book was professionally edited, and I would rate it 4 out of 4 stars because of all the reasons mentioned.

I would recommend this book to lovers of adventure, travel, friendship, family and thrilling events. This book is also suitable for children as there are many lessons to be learned.

I actually learnt a lot from this children's book. The author did a great job in the description of North and South Korea. This is one of the best books I have read this year.
