[Following is a volunteer review of "The War of the Cha'cict" by Terrence E. Scott.]
The war of the Cha'cict by Terrence E. Scott is an action filled Sci-fi fantasy. If you're anything like me and you love sci-fi, then this book is an absolute must read. It is filled with nail biting excitement on every page. There is an overall good description of characters and aliens, giving the reader a clear picture to build in their minds while reading. A lot of internal dialogue from Jared gives the reader a closer peek into Jared's thoughts and psyche, making it so that you better understand the emotions and internal struggles he's going through, therefore relating to him more.
Jared Conell is a corporal sent on a great mission, but with an obstacle at every corner, nothing ever comes easy. He is dealing with a lot of physical pain caused by an alien virus, which makes an early death inevitable and to top if off he is overcome by grief for a love forever lost after his wife was killed by the Cha'cict aliens. He will never see her again, or will he? The Cha'cict is an alien race who raged war against earth. Determent to stop at nothing. Soon Jared finds himself on a alien craft. Is he in any danger? It's up to Jared to save the human race.
For me The war of the Cha'cict was a great read. I could barely stop reading once I started. There wasn't anything I didn't like about it, just maybe some dialogues was a bit outstretched and unnecessarily to long, but for me that is mainly because I could not wait to know what happened next. The book surpassed all my expectations. It was a real compelling book with a very intriguing story line. It for sure held my attention all through out. Terrence E. Scott is a very gifted writer with an amazingly creative mind for dreaming up such a captivating story.
I give the book 4 out of 4 stars. It was very well edited, I could not find any errors. With very little profanity, I would say the book is suitable for everybody.
