Man mission takes one on an adventure into the lives of four young men who, after college, still decide to fulfill their dreams of going on annual food and outdoor activity trips, which involve sampling every weird and bizarre edible they can find and biking, hiking, or kayaking in order to eat as much as they like to avoid the guilt. They made this a ritual and believed that it was a way of becoming real men. Man mission by Eytan Uliel was divided into three parts; the beginning, middle, and end.

They went hiking, biking, and kayaking in New Zealand, Thailand, Fiji, Vietnam, South Africa, etc., where they encountered drug dealers with rifles in New Zealand, faced a wild cat in South Africa, and so many other challenges, but in the end, the goal was to accomplish the mission no matter the circumstances. This is the part I loved about this book the most because the characters were resilient even in the face of all these challenges and completed the mission.

The story was told from the first person's point of view, which was Eytan's. Eytan narrates his experience with his friends on their adventure, and this was done only from his own point of view. So, one would only know what was transpiring in the lives of the other characters from Eytan's perspective, but the writer made up for this by giving necessary information about the characters. In spite of this, the story was able to keep me glued from the beginning to the end, as I waited in anticipation to know where their next adventure would take them and what was waiting ahead for them.

The writer's style was not monotonous; this spiced up the story from start to finish. I liked the fact that humour was employed in this piece; it was soothing and made me forget for a while about my worries. This statement, "How we'd go away and do something wild and crazy, where we wouldn't have to shower or shave for a week", did strike me as odd, and it made me wonder if this is truly what goes on in the minds of all men.

I didn't find anything that I disliked about this book and would give this book the 4 out of 4 star rating that it deserves. I would recommend Man Mission to young adults who love good stories with humour and also to those who want an insight into the masculine world, but wouldn't recommend it to children because of the repeated use of profane words which I observed in this book. This book was professionally edited as I only spotted one error throughout the book, also, there was no erotic content.

The friendship of those four guys sure is the definition of true friendship. Although life does a number on us sometimes, we should never forget that there are people out there who are wishing the best for us.

A journey with your best friends, where you can cool of and talk about life and it’s challenges should definitely be in a mental health starter pack and is very important. Great review
