Review of Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat

[Following is a volunteer review of "Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat" by R.F. Kristi.]
Inca, a pretty Siberian cat; Cara, a prissy kitten; Fromage, a cheese-loving French cat; and Charlotte, a tiny Roborovski are cats owned by Missy, their owner, whom they sometimes called Mom. Together, they make one beautiful, lovely and admirable family.
Inca had always dreamt of being a top detective cat. She wanted to be a famous writer, too, and began writing a diary — which is the book we are reading. Some antiques got lost in a Sri Lankan museum, and Inca jumped at the opportunity to unravel the mystery. I loved how courageous Inca was, and it's not a wonder she was the leader of the troupe. Considering her ability to lead the team and keep them united, she deserved the post. This is further shown when she risks going into a deep and dark forest to look for Fromage. Fromage was claiming that the leopards were his relatives and went into the forest to see them in the middle of the night. That was a stupid thing to do, but Inca and her friends put aside their anger and went to look for him.
Another thing I loved is how perfectly connected all characters and scenes are. One thing smoothly led to another, and the characters are developed around each other in a way none of them seems out of place. Terrance comes into the picture as Solo's dog, and Solo is in a way connected to Mom. Solo and the kitty troupe are also friends, and they help each other in solving mysteries. I also loved the suspense and tension that was evident in the unfolding mystery, especially when Inca and her friend were looking for the thief.
There is no detracting negative thing I can point out in the book. It is also a fun-filled book that has good mystery and adventure. Furthermore, I immensely enjoyed reading it. I rate it 4 out of 4, and I don't see any reason to rate it lower.
The book is perfect for children who enjoy mystery books that have elements of adventure.
