Kelly and Tom are enjoying their honeymoon in Barefoot Sands Resort and Spa in Honduras. They are enjoying the gorgeous beaches and the delicious food. All of a sudden, they are caught up in a terrorist conspiracy that might destroy the free world. In this fiction named E M P Honeymoon: Kelly and Tom, Dorothy May Mercer weaves a fabulous story. Tom goes on a boat ride, so Kelly decides to buy some things for her nephew at the center of the city. She notices a shop named Pigsty. She decides to patronise the shop. However, as soon as she enters the shop, she perceives that there is something sinister about the shop. She investigates the shop and finds a high-tech laboratory apparently used for criminal purposes. Somebody attacks her violently. Kelly manages to escape from the aggressor. She places a frantic call to her brother, Senator Mike Mcbride.

The senator sends two private investigators to help his sister. An agent of the Central Intelligence Agency, Steve Spalding, joins their team. Together, they discover the terrifying plans of the terrorists, and it seems that there is nothing they can do to stop the terrorists.

The first thing I admired about this novel is the simplicity of the writing style of the author. The diction that Dorothy utilized to execute this story is simple, clear, and concise. The reader will easily appreciate and enjoy this story. I was impressed with the use of the foreshadowing technique in this novel. Dorothy used this technique at the beginning of the novel when Kelly placed a frantic call to her brother, Senator Mike Mcbride. She used this technique to hook the attention of her audience. The relationships between the characters were believable and interesting. I enjoyed the banter between Sharon and Steve.

The book is well-organized. I did not notice any errors. It seems to me that Dorothy employed a professional editor because the book is exceptionally edited. I am thrilled by the patriotism shown by some of the characters in this story. Kelly and Tom are on a honeymoon when they discover the terrorist conspiracy. They abandon the honeymoon and their personal interests. They put their lives in serious danger so as to protect their country.

The story was a delight. I enjoyed every aspect of the book. However, I noticed that the book contains very little backstory about some of the main characters. The audience is not given the opportunity to read about the background and history of some of the main characters. This limits the reader's appreciation of such characters. Dorothy needs to take notice of this flaw and correct it. Despite this flaw, I rate this novel 4 out of 4 stars. This is because the flaw did not impair my enjoyment of the story.

Lovers of romance will be delighted by this book. Law enforcement agents will learn a lot from this story. If you are interested in anti-terrorism activities, then you need to read this book.
