Man Mission by Eytan Uliel captivates the readers' interest as it encounters the adventures of four men who dare to dream and make their dream a reality. The novel outlines the quad who establish the tradition of eloping from their regular lives to go biking, taking hikes, kayaking, and traveling all over the world, which became their Man Mission for the next fifteen years. The novel follows the men as they navigate the journey of friendship, marriage, parenthood, and daily life challenges.

Eytan, Sam, Daniel, and Alec have been friends since university. With each person having their career, the four young men set out to follow their aspiration of touring the world. Their initial adventure to New Zealand birthed the Man Mission idea, an idea that later was reflected in their successful visits to other nations like Fiji, Australia, Japan, Korea, South Africa, and Iceland. The lives of these men gradually change as they build their careers, establish families and settle in life while facing the challenges of life and living up to their societal expectations. The Man Mission, initially an idea of fun, proves to be their source of solace and comfort every year as they try to cushion the life blows. The adventures also educate them on the true definition of natural men and what it means to define and control fate.

The author’s vivid description of the adventures and the exotic places all over the world is captivating. I found the book eye-opening as it almost reflected my personal life, my aspirations, and where I might be in the future. The author's flow of the story of adventures blended with friendship, marriage, and life experiences creates an atmosphere of proximity to the author's emotions. The humor portrayed by the author lightens the mood in certain difficult situations and proves the prowess of captivating the reader. The author changed my perspective on life and the importance of taking control of one’s fate and living life to the fullest.

What I loved about the book was the author’s ability to blend the current events with past accounts. The use of flashbacks in the characters' lives and their present activities added to the story’s aura. The author starts chapters by giving brief descriptions of present events, switches to past accounts, and later continues with the adventure accounts. The author’s style created suspense and yearning to discover what would happen later in the chapters.

There is nothing to dislike about the book. The story offers a lot of knowledge about life events, the balance of marriage, the importance of communication in marriage as portrayed by the author, the meaning of true friendship, and living life to the fullest. The book is professionally edited, as I found no errors. I found the book engaging and worth every minute. Therefore, I rate it 4 out of 4 stars.

I recommend Man Mission to lovers of adventure and those who love touring the world. The book will provide great insight to young people in their early twenties on having and following dreams. The book is also suitable for a mature audience who likes adventures and marriage-based stories.
