Review of Reconfigurement

[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Many people find their old lives very miserable and are forced to go against all odds to work for them to afford their lives. Such situations are a result of poor financial planning when those people were still active in their career jobs, meaning when they retired, they had not saved enough to sustain themselves.
Reconfigurement, by E. Alan Fleischauer, is a book mainly about financial planning before retirement, thus giving solutions to the above problem. The author of this book is a financial adviser and runs a firm that deals with retirement planning. The book is meant to help individuals who are still working start planning for the future. The author goes on to give suggestions on how people should plan, for example, in investments, life protection, health insurance, and starting a side hustle career, among others. The author combined statistical data obtained from his clients and that from financial institutions to emphasize the urgency of his message.
I liked how Alan used modern-day problems to come up with modern-day solutions. For example, he suggests that people should start planning for their future from the early years of their working life because the current life expectancy is so high that the more they live, the more they need to spend. The book also comprises research data proving that the other is fully aware of the topic he is tackling. Reading about retirement and aging stories can be boring sometimes, so I appreciate the author's inclusion of relevant comic pieces in every chapter of his book. This makes reading his work more enjoyable and keeps readers active and interested in more content. Furthermore, this book has an important message, which is to plan ahead, and the author gives his audience an orderly way to do the planning. His suggested points will help readers as they age, and hopefully, they won't become burdens to others.
This book was well written. I enjoyed the style, delivery, and mostly the message. In addition, it was exceptionally well-edited, and I did not encounter any negative aspects to comment on. Therefore, I will rate it 4 out of 4 stars.
I strongly recommend this book to individuals who are in the age bracket of 35 to 50 and are from the working class. It will be so important if they know how to start planning for their future after they retire from their present prime careers.
