Review of Man Mission

[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
There are many missions in life that we would like to complete. And in this way, we hope to find peace of mind. However, once we complete such missions, we tend to want to complete more of them. This is because life is dynamic in the sense that new missions enter our minds every second, making it difficult to decide which one needs to be completed first. The Man Mission, by Eytan Uliel, is about four men on an epic journey: Eytan, Sam, Daniel, and Alec. The "Man Mission" refers to this journey. These four men planned it while they were still in college. They travelled to New Zealand, Thailand, Vietnam, and South Africa, to name a few destinations.
The Man Mission starts with a thought-provoking statement. I have not indicated it (the opening statement in the book) here in this review just for brevity. But I hope you will find it by yourself when you get a copy of this book. The statement piqued my interest in the book, and all I wanted to know was what happened before and after the pickup's journey down the dirt road in rural New Zealand. As I read on, I realised that Eytan and his friend Sam had encountered difficulties, and Eytan was injured on one of his knees. To cut a long story short, they ran across the drug dealers as they were packing their drugs. They possessed guns, according to the first point of view, and this proved to be a difficult period for these two (Eytan and Sam). However, when they introduced themselves to the drug dealers, a state of tranquilly was established for the two. To summarise the story, they drove Eytan to his destination. However, the truck was travelling at an unmanageable rate.
Mind you, these four had known each other since college. They intended to take a yearly trip to various locations throughout the world where life had taken them. The main purpose was to go trekking and kayaking and eat anything they found. However, as they got more focused on family and jobs, taking excursions became more difficult.
This novel's adventurous aspect, as well as the gorgeous and fascinating journeys recounted in it, appealed to me. The author's style of expression was engaging. He shared his feelings about their journey with us. The characters were well-built. Because the book had few characters, my reading work was simplified because I could follow along. The book included maps, which gave the story a visual response. This allowed me to follow the author's journey alongside his companions. The inspiring phrases added to the author's account bolstered it. On your feet, facing whatever comes your way. This proverb taught me that no matter how difficult things get, I must never give up on my dreams. It also motivates me to never give up hope.
Despite the book's many excellent aspects, I discovered a few problems while reading it. First, the story hops around uncomfortably, causing some doubt regarding the proper sequence of events. Scenes are abruptly chopped and then returned to another part at the same time. This was perplexing to me. The second issue is the misquoted Bible verse. Genesis 2:5 says, "Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth, and no plant had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth, and there was no one to work the ground." However, the author stated, "Then God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." This quotation belongs in Genesis 2:7, not Genesis 2:5.
The Man Mission was well-edited, as I only found one mistake while reading it. "Man Mission" receives four out of four stars from me. Because of the aforementioned issue, I am unable to remove any stars from the rating. This is because it did not interfere with my reading. Also, I don't think the minor flaws in the book are significant enough to warrant a lower grade.
I recommend this book to those who appreciate travel stories because it is instructive and educational. The book’s insights will pique their interest.
