Man Mission by Eytan Uliel was a book about five young men who embarked on yearly trips around the world as a form of recreation. They had done this for several years. They went around the world experiencing what the world had to offer. They had made this pact when they were young and broke. They kept their word so many years later when they could afford the luxuries of life and still be able to take care of their responsibilities comfortably.

To these guys, these were not mere trips. These trips symbolized how far they had come and how far they were going. They symbolized maturity and manhood. This is because on these trips they experienced emotional, mental and physical healing. They made peace with themselves and were inspired by the different cultures and the people they met. This way they became better versions of themselves.

What I loved most about this book was the fact that it offered me, as a reader, a wider perspective on the lives of men. Man groups have always been a mystery to me. Especially because I am a young lady who has suitors and a brother. It has helped me to understand their world and their challenges. Men are usually portrayed as having this masculine energy that can sometimes be toxic. This book lets its male characters be vulnerable and show emotion. This was nice because it humanized the characters and made them realistic and relatable.

I did not have anything negative to say about this book. I did not spot any spelling mistakes or editorial errors in the book. Not only that, but I, therefore, think that it was well edited and well written. The characters were well-developed and the storyline well-paced. Even though the book was fictional, it was very mature and very realistic. The characters also went through normal human life and challenges, which made them relatable.

I would like to rate this book as 4 out of 4. The first reason for this rating is that I did not have any issues with the writing or editing of the book. The second reason is that I respect the way that the author has portrayed men in this book. Not too vulnerable, yet not too masculine. The balance was amazing. Also, I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend this to all women, as it would be a nice window into the lives of men. I also would like to recommend it to men and lovers of fictional thrillers as they would enjoy and relate to this book.
