Of Zots and Xoodles is a captivating book written by Zarqnon the Embarrassed, and illustrated by Francis Louis Allen. The author, JW McLaughlin, decides to write behind a pseudonym (Zarqnon the Embarrassed) because his writing made him feel embarrassed. Theodil explains the universe's creation before a committee at the book's opening. He continued by describing how things were before they were created. He used a noodle-like string called Xoodles and dice with dots, known as Zots, to illustrate his theory and make his arguments to the audience. Was he successful in convincing the members of the committee? Read the book to learn more.

The author uses a theory that contradicts many rheological accounts of creation to make his points. There are just 48 pages in the book, 22 of which are artwork and labelled pictures that tell the story. The author's use of rhymes while expressing his perspectives is impressive. The combination of poetry, science, and complex physics theories might not appeal to some readers, but it is intelligent nonetheless. Initially, I found the book off-putting due to my inability to understand the theory, illustrations, and complex physics topics. Still, after reading it extensively, I understood the book. I must say that the book is engaging if the readers will give it time.

My favourite is the author's creative theory. It is totally different from every other existing one. The conversation between him and the members of the committee is captivating. The author's descriptive prowess will have readers pondering over other existing scientific theories of creation at the end, bringing clarity to some scientific information. I was on the edge of my seat as I tried to decipher the author's imaginative writing and illustrations. I commend the illustrator of this book, Frank Louis Allen, for his brilliant attempt to capture the author's scientific reasoning artistically. The diagrams are opposite; this speaks of the unique nature of the author in his creation.

I disliked nothing about the book. However, the theoretical calculations initially proved challenging, but as I progressed through the book, I came to appreciate the writing style. The book's brevity was one of the things that encouraged me to continue. Anything longer could have brought down my interest.

The book is exceptionally edited; no errors were found in it. I rate this informative book 4 out of 4 stars. This rating is given because the book contains detailed scientific information that has broadened my understanding of scientific theories. I recommend this book to science fiction and philosophy lovers.

Points to the author for sharing his thoughts on the origin of the universe. Scientists would be very interested in this book but other people may not fancy it. Great review.

Zarqmon the embarrassed is one author that I appreciate his courage and passion. He didn't allow his shortfall to push him into the dark. I like how he used mathematical expressions to tell the story of creation. Wonderful review, welldone.

I love McLaughlin's creativity in bringing an imaginary theory of how the world was created. This contradicts the common knowledge we know of how the world was created. However, it's another interesting perspective to look at. Thanks for the excellent review.
