[Following is a volunteer review of "Murder in the Garbage" by Jerry A Greenberg.]
Murder in the Garbage by Jerry A. Greenberg is a fantastic book. First of all, I would like to comment on the title of the book, it draws attention and it is a good catch. I wonder how the author came up with this title and book because this is another level of creativity. This book is basically about Hank, Raoul, and a lot more characters working on catching criminals who stole the military missiles. This book has a lot of action, and violence but it is not in detail. It is just minimal violence and it's readable. One of the things I wanted to know was why the book was named this way. Then I noticed that there is a garbage company involved but in that garbage company, murder also took place.
What I loved about this book is that it was short and straight to the point. The author kept us glued to the book by making sure new things happen. I love that the author made the book dramatic and also interesting. I love how Jerry describes each character which gives the reader a chance to imagine how the characters look in person.
What I hate about this book is that the author included a lot of POVs for people we were not familiar with. I feel that there were a lot of characters in the book but Jerry also made sure we knew the role they play in the book. One other thing I hate is the ending, we wanted to see what happened to Ballas, the criminals, and Raoul. I was expecting Linda and Raoul to have a sweet ending. I am really angry about the way this book ended.
Therefore I will rate the book 4 out of 4 because the book was actually exceptionally edited. I will give this rating because, despite the book having a bad ending and a lot of characters, I still enjoyed it. This was the best action book I have read. The format of the book was not complicated, it was easy to understand and follow where the story was going.
I would recommend this book to people who love reading books about crime and how crime is solved. If a person is interested in the FBI and the CSI, I would truly love for them to read this book because it was nice. I would really love to applaud Jerry for writing this book.
