[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
At a food fair in college, two men, Etyan and Sam, met. They began a conversation between each other. While conversing, they both discovered that they had a communal love of food, which brought both of them closer. Etyan began to elaborate on his dream to go on annual vacations to different places and also engaging in different activities during the vacations like hiking, biking and kayaking. Tasting all sorts of dishes while on the vacations was also one of his dreams. Three years later, Sam called Etyan and reminded him of his dream and encouraged him that they should go for it. Daniel and Alec, Etyan's other two best friends also joined them on the adventure.
Man Mission : Four Men, Fifteen Years, One Epic Journey is a book that reads as an adventurous journey of fifteen missions in fifteen years. These missions occurred annually. They visited places like New Zealand, South Africa, Vietnam, and Japan. I enjoyed the fact that as I kept reading the book, there was no dull moment. Every chapter felt intriguing and entertaining. I also came across numerous things to learn in this book. The specific aspect of the author, Etyan Uliel, using a descriptive and understanding writing style in interweaving the past and the trips was comprehensible. Everything felt understandable. This book teaches one how to handle relationships with one's spouses and children. In every book, I always learn an important thing. From this book, I learnt that telling one's spouse and child you love them every day, builds a strong relationship between one another.
I didn't find anything dislikable in the book. I kept flowing with the texts in it. Adventure was the main theme in the book. I would say relationship was the sub-theme.
This book is great indeed! Therefore, I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. Man Mission : Four Men, Fifteen Years, One Epic Journey appeared professionally edited as no grammatical error was noted. It was entertaining, intriguing, addictive and above all humorous.
Profane words were used by the men while conversing. The part where they saw a vending machine that sells erotic supplies and sex toys indicates sexual contents. Therefore, I won't recommend this book for children or young audiences. I would recommend Man Mission : Four Men, Fifteen Years, One Epic Journey to adults who enjoy adventures.
