Sam, Daniel, Alec and Eytan (the author) have been friends for a long time. Eytan (the author) and Sam met at law school and both had an idea of traveling to exotic places around the world annually. It was during their late twenties when Sam phoned the author telling him that he had organised a trip to New Zealand. The author was reluctant to accept because of his tight schedule, but he finally accepted his proposal. What started like a simple trip turned into an annual event for the next fifteen years and they were later joined by Alec and Daniel. The fifteen years were full of good and bad experiences that included birth of their children, one of them getting a vasectomy, death of one's father, a financial crisis and many others. But through all these experiences, they had something to look up to each year and they called it Man Mission.

Eytan Uliel writes about his life's experience with his friends in this book called Man Mission. This story shows the lives of men overcoming struggles with their work, marriage and finding meaning in the programmed traditional way of how a man's life should be. The book has fifteen chapters, each talking about one of the missions in these fifteen years and their experiences during that year. The images at the beginning of each are amusing and informative showing what to expect in that chapter.

The aspect that I liked most about this book is the man mission charter. This charter is a set of rules that the author and his friends were to follow while on a man mission. The rule that I liked most is the one were the one who did a ridiculous thing was given a pink bracelet. The development of people in the book is good. The scenes of the different travel places are well described.

Appreciating what we have however small it maybe is one of the important lessons learnt at the end of the story. You will find many other important lessons from the author's life and that of his friends. I have looked through the book thoroughly, and I've found nothing to dislike about it. It is exceptionally well edited without an error that I came across.

I am to rate this book four out of four stars because of its inspiring story. I am to recommend this book to travellers who travel around the world. There are bible verses at the start of each chapter. Those who think that they are having the worst life should read this book as it will give them comfort. Profanity is used throughout the book, and it is not good for young audiences.
