Mom had decided to spend her holiday in Sri Lanka. Inca, Cara, and Fromage will travel with her. Inca, the queen of kitties, heads a detective team that had solved many mysteries. Inca is always interested in all types of crimes. Interestingly, she will have more than enough mysteries to solve in Sri Lanka.

While in Sri Lanka, an ancient sword gets stolen, Fromage sneaked out and could not be found, and now Inca herself got lost in the wild and could not find her way home. Inca desires to recover the sword and bring Fromage home. How would she succeed if she was unable to help herself first? Will she ever see her family again? Will this be the end of all her ambitions? Find out as you read Serendipity Mystery: Dairy of a Snoopy Cat by R.F Kristi.

Reading this book is like taking a tour of the wild. I love the informative nature of the narrative. The author provided interesting information about the animals in the story. This includes physical features, behaviors, and other facts. For example, while talking about turtles, the author mentioned what they eat and their life span. Also, the pictures are attractive and colorful. They show the emotions of the characters and were quite artistic. This is what I love most about this book.

The descriptive prowess of the author was awesome. She used words such as 'dusty road', 'hot sun', and 'sharp corner'. With such words, I could find myself in the scenes. Also, this book contains moral lessons for children. Children can learn how to make friends and work as a team. They can also learn to show concern for others.

I have no dislike for this book. It was professionally edited. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. Children between the ages of 8 and 12 years will enjoy reading it.
