Title: Smart Love
Author: Vincent Fudge II
Smart Love is a book that outlines a relational improvement exercise between a couple, Ebony and her husband Edward. Ebony and Edward met at a time when they had just separated from their suitors almost the same time. They became friends because of the ideal maternal/paternal qualities they saw in each other. During their first-born infancy, Ebony and Edward separated traumatically due to incompatibility, immaturity, and lack of a shared relationship vision. Ebony and Edward saw each other’s flaws as elevated and failed to recognize personal faults in their wrecked marriage. Their marriage was strained and, on several occasions, resolved to separate or dissolve their marriage. Fudge came up with a workable strategy, and a plan of action called SMART that would help him salvage his marriage. He communicated this plan of action to his wife. The two worked through the plan and fought for their marriage.

What exactly does SMART stand for? How was the plan of action implemented? What were the challenges in the implementation phase of SMART and what were the solutions? To find out, read the book, Smart Love.

I appreciate the level of transparency with the author. He openly portrays his vulnerability to help the reader leap from his SMART plan of action. He vividly explains his strained marriage situations so that readers can relate to and help them overcome similar experiences. The author talks about what contributed to the wrecked marriage and how to save this marriage. It is a heroic personality, one that needs to be applauded! What I loved most about the book is the vital solution that the SMART plan of action offers to modern society. I can give assurance that the plan will save many wrecked relationships and marriages.

Even though the book is very educational and solution-oriented, I found some paragraphs to have very long sentences.
Throughout the book, I came across zero spelling, zero grammatical errors, and zero typos, and therefore, I rate this book four out of four stars.

I recommend Smart Love to those who are in a relationship/marriage, everyone aspiring to get into a relationship, and even to separated couples who would like to give it another shot. This is because the book will motivate you to navigate through difficult situations in your life.
