[Following is a volunteer review of "Midwinter Turns to Spring" by Maria Veloso.]
Cassidy Hamilton shifted to her new Victorian-style apartment, Pacific heights 201 from the university district of Berkeley. While unpacking her boxes she came across a hidden built-in drawer and discovered the handsome journal of Savannah Curtis, a lady who lived in the same apartment twenty-six years ago.
Savannah Curtis now lives with a different name in anonymity with the world around her. The secret to her anonymity lies in the journal which she left in Pacific heights, 201 suddenly vacating the place all of a sudden 26 years ago. Cassidy Hamilton after discovering the course of events that happened in Savannah's life twenty-six years ago in the same room is taken aback, her curiosity sinks in and she starts her search for the lady who shared the same apartment with her.
The first thing that I loved about the book is its musical soundtrack. The author Maria Veloso knows how to capture the minds of a reader. The plot setting, the character development everything is sharp and edgy. Tho the story revolves around two different timelines and Protagonists, it is easy for people to get hold of the book every time the plot develops. The book is exceptionally well edited and there are no errors to be found in the whole reading course.
The book Midwinter turns into Spring captivated me throughout my whole reading journey and everything about the book is captivating. The simple language, dialogue delivery of character, twists, and plot everything is understandable and there are no negative aspects to this book.
This book can give a real essence about art to its reader. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars for its amazing delivery of the story and for giving a new insight to the outside world.
Midwinter turns into Spring, must be read by everyone who holds the capacity to understand language. With the easy language it can be a good starter for people who want to start reading.
