When people are treated so badly that they believe this is the worst that could happen, as in, could things get any worse? Then things start to get worse. This was precisely the situation in Hillport. Hillport was a Voulhire city. It was difficult enough for them to have a pedophile as a king; no child was safe. Then this king, Lord Orlin, was deposed by Lord Meldorath, a truly evil man. The people of Hillport quickly realized that having a pedophile for a king is anything but easiest.

Galen was a young man who grew up in a princely land plagued with war and violence. He learned that he had an uncle in Voulhire who was dying and wanted him to come and be his heir. Galen gladly left the land of princes, although it was not an easy escape. Unfortunately, his uncle passed away before he could reach Voulhire. He met Rowan, his uncle's executor, who was extremely helpful. He realized he had blacksmith blood coursing through his veins. He embarks on the journey of making the most of himself and his newfound wealth.

Mathew Tysz wrote the book We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies. I like how the book was written engagingly. Although the writer was writing from the perspectives of various people in various locations, he managed to keep the readers interested. This book has a fantastic plot that makes you want to read more. Every character was well described by the author. I like how the author combined science and fiction with magic. The outcome was impressive. I found no grammatical errors in this book while reading it. It was flawlessly edited.

There were some sections with a lot of big and unfamiliar words that required me to consult my dictionary. This slowed my reading, but I did pick up a few new words. The book contained some profane language, but this did not bother me. This is the first in a series of nine books. I'd love to read more because this book is so intriguing, but I'm not a big fan of series books.

I adore this book, and I believe many others will as well. This is one of the few books I'd like to read again. This book is rated four out of four starsby me. It deserves nothing less because it was flawlessly edited, very engaging, and well worth the time spent reading it.

This book is recommended for readers who enjoy books about magic, adventure, and politics. People who are sensitive to profanity in books may find this one difficult to read. Those who enjoy sequel novels should look into this series. To get the most out of this book, the reader must be patient.
