There is no doubt that terrorism has always been a major issue in a lot of countries around the world. With technological advancement, cyberterrorism has increased in this current generation. The governments of nations are now taking adequate security measures to upgrade their cyberspace and defenses. Cynthia and Dan by Dorothy May Mercer is an amazing thriller novel that features this issue of cyberterrorism.

The major character in this novel is a smart security specialist, Cynthia Patterson. She is in charge of the security division that protects the senator, Senator McBride. However, she poses as a receptionist for the senator. Cynthia has a boyfriend, Dan. They have both been dating for a long time. However, things changed when Cynthia met another guy, Sky. Now, Cynthia is in an emotional dilemma. Meanwhile, Cynthia joins forces with Glenn, her brother. They formed a team with other tech-savvy guys to help neutralize an imminent threat to national security. Will they succeed in neutralizing the enemy’s threat? Was Cynthia able to combine her love life and her mission? Read Cynthia and Dan by Dorothy May Mercer to find out.

The author, Dorothy May Mercer did a good job of writing this fascinating crime thriller novel. The author’s writing style is incredible and captivating. I kept reading each page with anticipation for the next page. I enjoyed reading every page of this novel. I would like to commend the author for taking the time to ensure the plot was well developed. I could easily relate to it. Another interesting feature of this book is the aspect of technology. All of the fighting and defending of the country took place in cyberspace. This book made me understand that cyberterrorism is a big threat to any nation. If not properly handled, it could lead to the downfall of any nation.

This is an interesting and informative book. I would like to state that there is nothing about this book that I dislike. The author did an amazing job.

The action and romance in this novel made it fun to read. I also learned a lot of new things about the internet. I noticed that this book was thoroughly proofread and edited. I did not encounter any typographical or grammatical errors while reading. As a result, I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.

I would gladly recommend this book to fans of science fiction and romance novels. People who are interested in learning about the internet and technological advancement would find this book meaningful. I do not recommend this book to people who find books containing sexual content offensive.

I recently read this book, and although I was not happy with the way some characters were portrayed, I'm glad the book opened me to more information of the cyberspace and the need for Cybersecurity. Beautiful review.

I love how Dorothy delved into the ethical dilemmas surrounding cyber warfare and the difficulty of establishing rules of engagement in this new type of warfare.
