Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula

[Following is a volunteer review of "Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula" by R.F. Kristi.]
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is one of the fantastic children's books in the Diary of a Snoopy Cat The Inca Cat Detective series by R. F. Kristi. The book explained how the Inca cat and her family united the divided family on the Korean Peninsula. It was interesting to see the cat detectives tactically bringing peace. Inca, the head of the detective agency, and her colleagues travelled to South Korea to attend a cookery competition. Cordon Blue Cookery, a famous French cookery school, organised the competition. The human mom of the cats was invited to be the judge at the competition.
On their way to the competition between South and North Korean chefs, they met Enzo, a French chef. The school also invited him to be part of the judging team for the competition. He tried to steal the cheese that Cats' mom prepared to showcase at the competition. Terrance hunted him down and got the cheese bag back to their mom. Enzo tried again to embarrass their mom, but he failed. The cats ventured on a mission to search for the sister of the Korean dog they had befriended while there. For them to be successful, they were required to cross the border. How did they work this out?
This is a nice book. I am pretty sure that the children will enjoy reading this book. Apart from respect for animals, as intended to teach the target readers, I also see love as a great lesson in this book. The children will learn to love their parents and friends through this story. The cats loved their mother so much. They protected her from any danger that came her way. They also love each other. Ji failed to prepare for the competition because Bo-Mi was missing. She prepared when Bo-Mi was found. This shows the love and intimacy that existed between them. Love is a good lesson for the kids.
I think the political aspect of the story will not make sense to the target readers. They may relate nothing to that. Apart from that, I found nothing displeasing in this book. The illustrations embedded in it were superb. That is what most children like to see in a book. The author kept the language simple to suit the target readers. I think children may not struggle to understand it. I did not single out any errors in the book. It is exceptionally edited. Therefore, I gladly rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
I recommend this book to children aged 7 to 14 years. They will find it pleasing and entertaining. The adults who find it easy to watch cartoons may also enjoy this book.
