The book Seeking...Finding...Healing by Becky Lu Jackson is a non-fiction self-help book, an instructional manual to help people make peace with their history. The author has been through life challenges in the past, and she discovered that most of her traumas were from the past and decided to come up with a way of being imaginative to reconnect with her younger self. This is called inner self visualization. You literally envisage your younger self. Accessing our inner self is a tool that swings the door of wisdom and by walking through that door, automatically we discover creativity, support, and comfort. In her inner family healing, foundation work was created for commitment and safe space. In foundation work, the author suggested that people should have outer support teams, not just anyone, but people who you trust and who you can open up easily to them. Forming healthy bonds with your outer support teams, and being able to keep things confidential. Our spiritual team brings out the best in us, as we visualize our younger selves to communicate and discover our past traumas. Our younger selves provide strength, wisdom, comfort, support, and safety.

What I liked about this book is that it tells us how writing can be our tool for inner family healing. When I was young, I used to create dialogue. In that dialogue I divided myself into two characters. The first one was the younger version of me and the other one was the older vision. That time I used writing as my tool, and I can say it helped me a lot. I have learnt to be true to myself, it was easier for me to open up to my older self, as she wrote back to me advising me on what to do. I can also say this book is accurate for me, I relate a lot. What I also liked about this book is how the author was so open and transparent about the things that happened to her without leaving anything behind, and how she came up with thought-provoking points.

There was nothing that I did not like about the book. The book was well structured and well-written. I liked how I can relate with what the author wrote in this book, especially about how she was telling us about our younger selves. I have learnt a lot from this book. I even learnt about reconnecting with my younger self for healing and peace.

The book is informative and instructive on how to find inner healing. It instructs people on how to accept and make peace with their past and also to welcome their younger selves. I am glad I have discovered such a healing book. I did not find any typos or mistakes, and the book was professionally edited. This is a great book to read. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.

I am recommending this book to individuals who would like to discover healing and find themselves to make peace with their past traumas. I would also recommend this book to individuals who would like to understand the concept of inner healing even better.
