[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a non-fiction book that tells the story of a group of friends who decided to come together annually for an event they term man mission. After graduating from high school, the four friends decided to embark on this expedition each subsequent year. This mission is a journey to any location in the world where they can enjoy themselves as a group. Charlie, Sam, Daniel, and Alec traveled for the man mission once a year despite their busy schedules. There were several themes highlighted, including adventure, bravery, friendship, and bond.
They traveled to different countries where they talked about the challenges their families and careers faced. Charlie and Sam began the first man mission by going hiking in New Zealand. After the first two trips, Daniel joined the group. Alec later joined the group of the three of them. This man mission lasted for fifteen years. They took part in many excursions where they gained new skills and how to deal with difficulties in their marriage and at work.
The book was entertaining to read. There are a lot of positive things about Man Mission. I discovered a lot about the significance of friendship in this book. The four friends shared a lovely bond and friendship. They encouraged one another and shared counsel. Along with offering encouragement and guidance, they also challenged one another. Sam challenged Charlie when he wasn't ready to start the man mission. Sam inspired him to start the mission and travel to New Zealand. Another aspect of the book I liked was how the author used humor to provide some comic relief. It was a fun book to read.
I found no negatives to list for this book. This book taught me a lot and was not just enjoyable to read. I was able to learn about what was going on in the countries that the four friends traveled to during their adventures. I also learned a variety of sporting activities that the four friends engaged in while traveling to different countries. The trips also included a lot of funny moments. It was an excellent read.
Man mission was both educational and entertaining. It is well-written, and the diction is simple to understand. I found no errors in the book, indicating that it had been exceptionally edited. I give this book a four out of four stars rating for these and other reasons.
I recommend this book to readers who are interested in reading books about adventures and travels. It is also recommended to readers who like reading books about friendship.
