For the curious religious reader, this book sounds like an excellent complement to what is surely an already well-known story.

The story of Cain and Abel in the Bible does leave out a lot of information. I have always wondered about Cain's 'mark.' I have also wondered where Cain found a wife! This sounds like an interesting book. I am going to add it to my want-to-read list! Thanks for the lovely review!

I'm incredibly excited to read the turns of this book because it's a different fictitious account about the early days than the biblia recounts

I do love history and historical fiction, especially when books are based on actual real events. But, unfortunately, I am not a religious person. Like totally void of Christian spirituality, so concerning this particular case I lack interest in the book completely. No offense to anyone meant and sincere congratulations on BOTD!

"Killing Abel" by Michael Tieman is a work of fiction based on biblical events. Throughout the entire book, the author carefully followed the timelines of the Bible. This makes the book easy to navigate.

I'm not into historical fiction and religious fiction is also not my cup of tea. But I'm sure the book will find its reader. A lot of people will be interested to read someone else's point of view on the events in the Bible. Besides there are lots of gaps in the Bible and people will be thrilled to find out what had happened during these time gaps. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Any Christians out there, not just this group, who want to know why the "sons of God lived with the daughters of men" in Genesis 6:4 can find the answer in this book.
- I'm not a Christian but your (the moderator/reviewer) style of writing hooked me to read this book. Amazingly beautiful.Thank you.

Well done on an insightful and detailed review. This book introduces an innovative plot with dramatization of some real Biblical events. It's engaging and will surely be a delight for Christian readers who are already familiar with the premise.

A fictional story based on the biblical account of creation is intriguing.

Thank you for the great review.

Tieman's creative way of filling in the gaps in the biblical account of Adam and Eve in Eden, all the way to the period of Noah during the floods, impressed me. Congrats to the author and the reviewer in making the book of the day.

I reviewed this book as well, and I enjoyed Mr. Tieman's interpretation of biblical events. While I knew it was a fictional tale, I liked imaging what Adam and Eve did with their kids and what their marriage may have been like. Thanks for the review!

The "Nephilims" are an interesting group, and I have heard several teachings about them. I am not a fan of mixing fiction with the Bible, so I will pass on this book. But if it helps a reader understand the love of God, I hope they decide to pick it up. Thank you for your thorough take, and congrats on BOTD.

I read this book few month ago ,Killing Abel” is a story about the early days of earth and God’s interaction with man, but at its core it’s also a story about redemption, guilt, mercy, and sacrifice. It’s the story of how the almighty God, mankind’s loving Father, was conflicted and limited with just how to deal with a murderous son as well as a world gone far from His original desires.Today's book is historical fiction inspired by the Book of Genesis
