Stolid by Aaron D key is a book about romance. Romance of a person whose only crime was that he liked men in the 1980s. And where did this take him? You will get to know that after reading the book.

So one day Stolid was lying beside a street, drunk and not fully conscious. He was asking strangers for help, but no one noticed him. One person stopped his car and had a little chat with Stolid before giving him a lift. He stopped his car near a quiet seclusion of a lay-by on a deserted country lane. They both got out, and Stolid was confused out of his mind. The stranger then asked Stolid that if he remembered him. Stolid was even more confused now. Then the stranger gave him a hint, and Stolid solved the mystery after a long conversation. But did this person know that Stolid was lying there on the street all by himself without any help all along? And what did he want from him after such a long time?

The thing that I liked the most about the book is the twists and turns. Although it is a romantic book, the number of twists and turns and revelations it has is really something else. The writer has done a great job in explaining all the details in such a manner that you won't feel bored at all throughout the reading experience. Another thing that I liked is that it had no grammatical mistakes or typos in it. So it is very nicely edited too. And the way the author has portrayed every character with such delicacy and their emotions so immaculately is really commendable.

There is some non-borderline profanity in the book, but that much is expected from a book of this genre and depth. It also has some detailed scenes of eroticism, but they didn't affect my experience of the book. And although it is the third book in the author's the wheel of eight series, it can be read as a stand-alone book. And the kind of experience that this book has given me, I think I will be reading the other two books as well.

In the end, I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, as I did not find anything to hate in the book and the storyline really was something new to me. I haven't read a book of this kind before, so it was something new for me. I mean I have read romantic novels but this one really touched me on another level. Furthermore, I would recommend it to people who are a fan of romantic and life-changing stories.
