Review of A Dream For Peace

[Following is a volunteer review of "A Dream For Peace" by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah.]
Racial discrimination has always been a major issue in our society with no clear solution. A Dream For Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a memoir that recounts the author's life and the obstacles he overcame in order to achieve peace.
Dr. Ghoulem was born in the eastern region of Algeria. He was born into a family that places a high value on education. His mother wanted the best for him, but growing up was difficult for him. He is a bright student who has consistently received high grades since he was a child, earning him a scholarship to study in France. Some of his family members had always wanted him to be a teacher, but Dr. Ghoulem wanted the best for himself. He studied medicine but developed an interest in politics as a result of the difficulties that many international students faced while studying abroad. Dr. Ghoulem began his fight for peace in order to build a better society. Purchase this book to follow the author's journey to realize his dream of peace.
This is a touching and engaging memoir. This book had many positive aspects that I appreciated. The first point to mention is that the author's writing style was excellent and captivating. I liked how the author included photographs to share insights into his family's history. It was inspiring to see how far he went to achieve his goal. The second is that I liked how the author brought up racial discrimination in our society up to the present day. The author demonstrated life lessons we should follow when we find ourselves in such situations, such as never fighting violence with violence but instead negotiating in order to promote peace and benefit everyone.
When I read this book, I found no negative aspects. There are so many positive aspects to this memoir. This book explores emotions such as love, grief, determination, and struggle, which made me feel very close to the author. Dr. Ghoulem was more than just an author; he was a living witness to societal injustice. He never wanted to settle for anything less than making a positive difference wherever he went. He served as an ambassador and shared ideas with top political leaders in order to promote peace at all times.
I’m rating this book 4 out of 4 stars. I found no grammatical errors when reading this book. This demonstrates how exceptionally well-edited it was. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading memoirs.
