The review of Seeking… Finding… Healing by Becky Lu Jackson.

Life is not restricted to what happens in the outside world. As a matter of fact, the world within is more significant than the world we see outside. A lot goes into the responses, reactions, and actions of people. This results from a decision taken at a particular time in life. Seeking... Finding... Healing by Becky Lu Jackson is a guide to understanding the world within, identifying previously unknown families within, and breaking free from old addictions or decisions that are no longer relevant but keep showing up.

The author, Becky Lu Jackson, is a good teacher of the subject she discussed in the book Seeking… Finding… Healing. She took the time to explain explicitly every part of the healing process, making the process effective because it is relatable. The book is divided into four parts, where each part treats different steps towards healing the self, called the Inner Family.

The first thing I admire about the book is the background knowledge about the healing process. This affirms that before a problem can be solved, the foundation should be known. And the foundation of knowledge has to look inward and bring out those reasons behind what we call personality.

We all have internal conversations, whether we realise it or not, that influence our decisions. The author called these conversations Inner Family Meetings, where different versions of a person give their opinion about a particular situation they are in per their experiences. There are times when adults act in ways that make us wonder why they made such childish decisions. The truth is that anyone who has not successfully taken authority over their life from the younger version will continue to act in accordance with the younger version's decision.

Another thing I love about this book is its practical nature. At every point, there is a practical exercise to take for the healing to be effective, as the mind needs to be active through the process.

Becky Lu Jackson used a term that made me see the world's vastness within: Board of Directors. This includes the emotional self, spiritual self, physical self, and mental self. She creates an avenue where they all come together to make decisions for the progress of their host, the self. There is broad knowledge shared on the essence of having this meeting often so that one part of oneself is not dying, which in turn causes the body to break down, and that this board of directors should work in partnership with each other.

Another exciting part of the book is the way it encourages imagination. The mind is taught how to be focused and envision. Also, creativity is sharpened such that different hidden abilities are brought into the limelight. Being a sane person involves a lot more learning, unlearning, and relearning than can be imagined.

The book is so good and helpful that I don't find any negativity in it. The book is exceptionally edited, and I found no errors in it. So I rate the book 4 out of 4. The stress in the world is so much that it takes extra effort to be sane. So I recommend this book to anyone who wants to live a sane life and heal from within.

I like that this book has background knowledge about the healing process. This affirms that before a problem can be solved, the foundation should be known. And I fancy the title as well, great review

I love this book. It taught some tips, techniques, and strategies to heal our younger selves and be ready for our future selves. I like the idea of the Inner Family. It is so important to handle it because that determines our life, in my opinion.

" The truth is that anyone who has not successfully taken authority over their life from the younger version will continue to act ibythe younger version's decision" This quote struck me and I am reading this book. I hope to get the full understanding of what the author means by seek, find and heal.

This book is inspiring and relatable. The world within is more complex than the outside world. Our imaginations are endless as a result of our nature. This author has done a great job putting together this piece of useful information.
