[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a non-fiction book about turning points and planning ahead. It illustrates insights into a financial plan, pensions, and the Social Security program. Also, this book presents topics such as income protection, disability insurance, taxes management, and career assessments.
Briefly, E. Alan Fleischauer explains how important it is to plan ahead and highlights the income's significance and the benefits of a Social Security program. As a financial advisor, he offers tips for retirement and individual assets. Also, the author illustrates the brief history of long-term care and gives examples of retirement planning software.
There is nothing I disliked about this book. I liked that E. Alan Fleischauer emphasized a well-structured retirement plan and offered useful strategies for investing and mutual funds. I appreciated that he presented general information about retirement plans and advised the readers to consult with their financial or tax advisor. Also, I loved that Alan gave examples from his personal experience. For instance, he shared his mid-life crisis and presented hypothetical candidates for his financial planning program.
Another positive aspect of this book is its writing style. I loved Alan's sincere tone and that he engaged the reader with humor and fun facts. For example, he made comments and remarks about his jokes and boring information, and I appreciated his sincerity regarding the advantages and disadvantages of each plan, whether it was about retirement or health insurance. I felt like I was in a continuous dialogue with the author while reading this book, and I liked that the most because I did not lose interest in the subjects he addressed.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because I learned numerous useful tips for planning ahead after reading it. I liked the author's strategies, jokes, and positive notes on each alternative for a retirement plan. I loved his personal interventions and recommendations of books about retirement planning and working from home. Also, Reconfigurement was exceptionally well edited. I discovered no single error while reading it.
I recommend this book to people interested in planning their retirement and reconfiguring their lives or those who dislike their jobs. It is perfect for those eager to read about testamentary trusts, wills, and myths about the Social Security program, especially for Americans, since most of the policies illustrated are from the United States. Also, Reconfigurement is suitable for a large audience because it has minor profanity and no sexual references.
