To reconfigure one's life is an act in which everyone should be involved. Until you retire, it is never too late to start planning for retirement. How do you plan for retirement? That's something you can learn from this book.

Reconfigurement is a book written by E. Alan Fleischauer, a financial advisor with over two decades of experience. He has spent years managing mutual fund portfolios for clients and helping people plan for retirement. I think that makes him fit to write about retirement. This book addresses the advantages of investing prior to retirement. Alan talks about income protection, insurance, trusts, bonds, mutual funds, and the different policies that one can benefit from after retirement. He also gives some advice and helpful tips that can help readers in planning toward reconfiguring their life.

Once I realize a book can help me improve my lot, I don't think there's any reason for me not to like the book. This is a good example of this type of book because I learned a lot of things. The first part I'll like to point out is the part of the assessment. The author provides a few links as well as questions for personal, career, and work value assessment. He explains why people should not limit themselves to healthcare insurance alone; they should benefit from other types of insurance, such as disability insurance.

This book covers a broad range of topics, but Alan makes it look as simple as possible. He carries the reader along by making it appear as if he is in a one-on-one conversation with the reader. He includes the types, advantages, and disadvantages of various policies, bonds, investments, mutual funds, and insurance mentioned in the book. The author also emphasized why apathy is a hindrance to reconfiguring one's life. He states that the first step toward reconfiguring one's life is to prepare a budget. I also learned that the most important asset of a man is his ability to earn income. Just to mention a few, there are lots of things to learn from this book and that's what makes it worth reading.

I couldn't find any fault and I enjoyed every part of the book. The information given is from the author's research and experience. They are things one should practice, not just read. This book illuminates the reader and assists in planning post-retirement situations.

I gladly rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The book was error-free. I think all the positive comments, lessons, and other reasons mentioned above are enough to give the book a full rating.

I recommend this book to young adults who are still in the early stages of their careers. Adults close to their retirement too can do well to pick this up. As I said earlier, until retirement, it is never too late to start planning for retirement.

I loved what Fleischauer did with this book. Even though this book was centered on long-term planning and investment which overall refers to finance. Fleischauer added a bit of humor which makes this book an easy read. Thanks for the review.
