Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book that focuses squarely on providing pieces of advice and tips to all workers who have reached or are approaching the government-approved age of retirement. It tries to educate retirees on how to accurately budget for and plan for their retirement and draw up a blueprint of how their lives will be run after they retire. An educative and informative book, Reconfigurement discusses topics like insurance, pension, and social security benefits among others.

This book is rather lengthy, but this is remedied by the author's strategic placement of jokes across different parts of the book. This helps lighten the educative setting of the book and get the reader back on track if they start losing interest. This is one of the positive aspects of this book. It adequately provides for the possibility of the reader losing interest. I believe this book would be rather incomplete without the inclusion of these jokes.

Another positive aspect of this book is the way it was written. Fleischauer narrated this book in the same way a person can say something to his friend. That is, the book is portrayed in the form of a conversation between two friends, with the author being the speaker and the reader being the listener. This removes the formality which exists between author and reader, effectively making the book easier to comprehend.

As I formerly stated, this book is an educative and informative book that contains topics that affect virtually almost every single sphere of finances. Normally, this book would not appeal to the younger demographic, but due to the information provided regarding finance and budgeting, the youths have something to interest them when trying to give this book a read.

While reading this book, I did not come across anything which I would consider a negative aspect. Although there were times when it seemed as though the author was speaking all over the place, this was quickly remedied by the presence of jokes in the book. Also, I did not find any grammatical errors in the book. This is a testament to how excellently Reconfigurement was written.

There is no reason for me not to rate this book 4 out of 4 stars since it is wonderfully written and contains invaluable information which is important for young and old alike.

I recommend this book to all income earners, public workers and those approaching or have reached retirement age.

The jokes contained within this book really help the reader to pull through the ocean if words. Nice observation and well done
