[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a very impressive work of fiction revolving around four male friends on a fifteen-year impactful journey that later shapes their adult lives. In this masterpiece, the author narrates about a group of young men in their teen years who go out of their comfort zone to try out different adventures every year without having to worry about the outcome and the challenges they might encounter along the way, whether positive or negative. In the process, they miraculously manage to maneuver through some difficulties along the way, as they cherish other moments as well. As time passes, they mature and become responsible adults, no longer teenagers but husbands, fathers, and colleagues.
In my opinion, this is more than a simple story, but a great book about symbiotic relationships among friends with its significance. The author puts it down on paper how our future greatly depends on the choices we make in our lives and how we relate to one another with respect to everyone’s uniqueness. In this story, the author describes how those young men managed to stay afloat despite the challenges they had to face along the journey because of their strong bond.
I also found this book very engaging and humorous as well, from the very beginning. As the title suggests, I found this to be a breathtaking comic book. If you are an aggressive or passionate reader of great fiction books, you will definitely find much more than you can imagine. In particular, the author’s writing techniques are what make this book even more interesting. His writing prowess is evident in the way he puts the events together in such a way that he leaves the readers hanging at some point and brings them back with some creative flashbacks. I found that really engaging and very interesting.
However, Man Mission does have some profanity and sexual content. Readers who might be offended by such things should be aware of the same before continuing. But in my opinion, I feel like the sexual context in this book perfectly fits the times and events and makes it even more interesting to read and understand.
I also have to admit that this was a well-edited book, and I did not find any typos or errors anywhere, despite reading very carefully to see if I could find one. Because of this, I am going to rate this book 4 stars out of 4.
I highly recommend this great masterpiece to young adults who are just leaving their teenage lives and proceeding to adulthood, because I feel they will find it more interesting and can easily relate to it.
