Are you a career man who is still thinking about retirement plans? Or are you thinking about what else could be missing from your retirement plan? E. Alan E. Fleischauer will help you with that matter. In his book titled Reconfigurement, he shares insightful information that aims to help his readers in planning before their retirement.

This book is not just about planning ahead. It also shares some tips and advice on how would the readers enjoy their jobs, and helps the readers to have fun in their job before their retirement. All the insights he shared in this book are from the years of experience he had as a financial coach. Alan also inserted some self-assessments to check if the readers really want their job.

After reading the whole book, I could say that the book is indeed professionally written. Whenever Alan mentions a situation that needs statistics, he would present the data he gathered while researching. He would also put the link where he got it for additional references, and to give also the credits to their creators.

The book is slow-paced. On its over 180 pages, the details Alan shared are not shallow; in fact, he gave a deeper understanding of planning before retirement. He divided this book into parts where he could elaborate on the ideas he wanted to share.

This book shares not only life lessons that readers could use for future purposes. This book also shares jokes that would light up your mood while reading this serious topic about your future. But these jokes are not just for entertainment purposes only, readers could also learn some things from these jokes. My favorite joke goes like this: "The only thing that travels faster than light...is your weekend." I learned here that weekends, which are the days we don't have work, are just a little amount of time, so treat it as our special day.

I found a lot of positive aspects that I liked in this book, and I found no reason that would make me dislike this book. It was professionally written and edited well at the same time. For these reasons, I give this book a complete rating of four out of four stars.

This book, according to its author, is highly recommended to readers aged 40-50 years old. I also recommend this book to readers who want to have more information about planning before their retirement.
