Have you ever wondered what it means to grow old or want to change career? If you have wondered about it, have you thought about the steps you would take to achieve those dreams or answered those questions about retirement and career change? If so, you are in the right place.

Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book that focuses on career and retirement planning. He defines reconfigurement financial planning to be about reconfiguring your life at any stage and planning ahead. The author goes ahead to talk about retirement strategies, insurance, income, death and jobs, among others. Several assessment tests and websites are also provided by the author in this book to determine personality types. The author goes ahead and takes some of the assessment tests on different websites, highlighting the most effective of them all for each personality test. Find out more about reconfiguring yourself in the book Reconfigurement.

There are so many things I loved about this book. Firstly I loved the exciting background stories. The author tells simple and interesting stories about reconfigurement in the book. My favourite and most compelling story is the one about Ed, the chiropractor Who is not happy about his 60-hour job a week and wishes to be a veterinarian with sculpting as a hobby.

I also loved the author's thoughts on insurance. He explains the two different types of insurance, and the most interesting bit of it is how insurance was born. I was mesmerised by the story, and I very much enjoyed and learned from it.

The author also kept recommending one to various websites to take tests and learn more about the different topics discussed in the book. This made the book so practical and, exciting at the same time.

There is nothing I disliked about the book since it lived up to my expectations, and I learned a lot from it. I, therefore, rate it 4 out of 4 stars because of its engaging nature, exciting stories and fun nature of the author.

The book seems to have been professionally edited since I encountered no errors. I recommend this book to persons who wish to learn more about themselves. Persons who are interested in learning more about how to plan for retirement will also enjoy reading this book since it gives basic ways in which one can plan for retirement and the major one being having an insurance policy.
