Like the saying goes: 'He who fails to plan plans to fail.' In the book Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer, the author gave comprehensive tips on how and what readers need to prepare for retirement while in active service. This information was presented from a professional point of view, though with caution that readers should consult experts for more details and advice. This book comprises thirteen chapters, while each chapter focuses on vital topics like the best retirement package plans, investment plans, and insurance plans to mention a few.

The author emphasizes the recent increase in the life expectancy rate of an average American, which has now resulted in more years to live after retirement age. Consequently, there is an urgent need to make a strategic plan that will cater for the years ahead. For more information on these strategic plans, pick a copy of Reconfiguement by E. Alan Fleischauer.

One of the things I like about this book is that reading it has widened my scope of knowledge. As a student of Economics, I now have a better understanding of some financial terms. For instance, the author gave a simple but explicit definition of market capitalization. Also, I especially enjoyed the three chapters that dwell on the investment opportunity and how readers could make the best choice among the options available by stating the merits and demerits of each investment option.

Furthermore, I found the author's writing style very captivating. It was simple and easily comprehendible. Knowing that the subject matter could be uninteresting to readers, the author intermittently sprinkles some jokes in the book to keep the reader's attention.

Talking about the editing of this book, I think the book is professionally edited, as I found minor typos at the end of the book. Although, that neither affected my overall comprehension nor the enjoyment of this book.

The only thing I did not like about this book is that; most of the information and examples are best-suited for American readers. I would, therefore, like that; in subsequent publications, the author considers reaching a wide range of audiences.

I happily rate Reconfigurement a four out of four stars for presenting vital tips on how people could forever live happily after retirement. Again, the frequent jokes the author infused into the book were funny and kept me glued to the end.

I recommend Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer to young or old readers looking for the best way to live happily after retirement from active service.

I like that the author added jokes to make this book more interesting. However, I'm not a big fan of non-fiction, so I'll have to skip this.
