Review of Reconfigurement

[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
When you hear reconfigurement, what comes to your mind?
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer talks about financial planning and other reconfiguration plans like getting a job, budgeting, investing, having fun, and preparing for retirement. The book also talks about having fun and doing a job you care about. Have you ever wondered what life would be like after retirement? Many people in their 80s are suffering now because most didn't plan for retirement or because a lot of them focused on fun and didn't invest. Budgeting and investing come together because you can't invest if you haven't budgeted.
I think everyone in their early 20s should have a copy of this book because it's best to plan earlier than when you are close to retirement. The book didn't just teach me about planning, but it has also changed my mindset about retirement. The book has also taught me the importance of doing a job I care about. When the author said, "Life is darn too short to be toiling with a job you don't care about," it got me laughing so hard because, as he already said, 70% of Americans don't like their jobs, and I just thought to myself, if 70% don't like their jobs, why are they still there? And the answer is simple; they can't get the job they love, or they want to start a business and don't have capital; they need a means of income. So most young adults want freedom by being their own boss, but they lack capital.
There was nothing to hate about this book. It was exceptionally well edited. I have learned a lot about financial planning. I love how the book teaches. One can naturally flow with the book and understand everything the author wants to say. I love the composure. I love how the author tried to make a boring topic fun. I enjoyed reading this book because of how informative it is. How can a book be this educational and yet funny?
The author made every point to educate despite how long the chapters were, but I guess that's how the author wanted it to be. I want to read more educational books like this. The book just reconfigured my life, and all I want to do is invest in the future. I applaud the author for writing this book because it takes patience to write an educational book. If you have considered taking a course on financial planning after retirement, this book is the right read for you.
I give this book 4 out of 4 stars because there was nothing to dislike about it. I recommend it to young adults and those that want to start a retirement plan.
