Review of Reconfigurement
The world we live in has undergone countless evolutions to date. With a deeper understanding of science and better interaction with our environment, a lot of people now have longer lifespans. An estimated 30 years lifespan has been added to humans in this present dispensation. Hence, individuals still have more life to live after retirement at 65. This calls for further planning on what next to do after retirement to keep generating income.
Planning is an important scheme that every individual must adopt. It helps to prevent setbacks, ditches, failures, and poverty. Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer focuses on financial planning for retirement. It covers other subjects like income, career assessment, PAIRIN personal assessment, TRAITIFY, PLUM, MYERS-BRIGGS, life protection, social security, investment and retirement plans, health insurance, long-term care, and 529 saving plans.
I figured out many positive things in this book. I learned new words like exchange-transfer funds (ETFs) and 406k. I got a deeper understanding of what they represent and their pros and cons. Alan wrote this book like he was directly conversing with the reader. This is commendable, and it made the book interesting and engaging at the same time. The book got me grinning each time I read across the puns and jokes the author included in this book. I must say that although Reconfigurement is educating, it is also fun to read. In addition, these jokes added in the middle and end of each chapter made this book less boring to read.
I like how the author meticulously thanked, acknowledged, and appreciated everyone that helped him at one point or the other while writing the book. Of course! He didn’t fail to thank his beloved wife for her support.
This book was written and arranged in chapters. It prevented the book from being unorganized and boring, which made it easy to read and comprehend. As a result, I found nothing objectionable about the book. This book did not contain any sexual language, and the book was exceptionally edited, as I found no errors. Consequently, I give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.
The Author, E. Alan Fleischauer, made me see the subject of reconfigurement from a different perspective. I’d think reconfigurement is for people who are aged 40-50 years, which may be wrong. According to the author, everyone has the duty of reconfiguring and planning for the future irrespective of their age, whether a high school student, a college student, or business personnel. Hence, I recommend this book to everyone who wants to plan for the future.
