[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book that offers financial guidance and retirement plans to readers. It offers us advice on how to make long-term plans and become ready for retirement.
The author is a financial advisor, and he used the experience he had garnered to educate the readers on financial reconfiguration plans. With Americans living longer than the average lifespan, the traditional retirement age of 65 is no longer appropriate, and there are measures that must be taken to ensure a comfortable old age. The author highlighted several methods like budgeting, career assessments, insurance policies, investments, and retirement plans. He used a chapter to explain each of them and shared several stories as examples. He also discussed the benefits of these techniques and how they can affect your financial plans. He ended the book with a list of other books concerning financial plans.
We need to reconfigure our lives financially to ensure comfort and protection for ourselves and our families well into the future. I've never really given my retirement plan much thought, but this book got me thinking and gave me advice on how to approach it. It also deals with a lot of questions we have concerning money and retirement. Retirement can look bleak, but with the help of this book, you can look forward to it. There are a lot of lessons to learn from this book, such as money management, budgeting, and the importance of insurance policies.
Another aspect of this book I liked was the author's humorous writing style. Money-related issues can be a sore topic for a lot of people. The author wrote this book in a simple and humorous way and also added jokes in each chapter to lighten the mood and make the topic less serious.
This book also laid emphasis on the proverbial saying "there are two sides to every coin". A situation that you perceive as bad could actually be a hidden opportunity. Some situations could be turning points. Although this book was written with Americans in mind, anyone can benefit from it.
This book was amazingly well-edited as I did not come across any errors while reading. It is a book everyone should read. I appreciated the author's humorous and informative writing style; it was simple and easy to comprehend. He explained complex terms and made it easy to understand. There was nothing to dislike about this book, and I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend this book to both adults and young adults because it will serve as a financial guide and aid them in planning ahead.
