In Reconfigurement, E. Alan Fleischauer talks about the various aspects of retirement and how to have a fulfilling and happy life. He also states that people are more likely to live longer than they were decades ago, meaning they need to plan for a long life after they retire.

The book consists of fourteen chapters, each of which discusses a different area of financial planning, such as health insurance, life insurance, and investments. Even a chapter devoted to debunking social security myths is in the book. The author concludes the book by adding his inspiration for writing Reconfigurement.

The book explains in detail how to conduct a career assessment and determine where one stands regarding career advancement. It also provides various tools and websites that can help one get a good idea of their current situation. The book makes numerous recommendations for retirement planning. A need for life security, social security, and financial security has arisen due to the average human lifetime increasing over the last ten years. Retirement investors can choose from various assets, but some are inappropriate owing to their time-consuming and low-yielding characteristics.

The book Reconfigurement is a fascinating and instructive read. I gained much knowledge, especially on retirement planning and personal development. I understood the finest strategies for securing income after retirement and the ideal investments for seniors. The author also suggests various alternative insurance plans, healthcare options, and the best ways to prepare financially for retirement. I loved the author's arguments about financial planning, seizing any chance that comes your way, and using the opportunity as a turning point in your life, even though I'm a long way from retirement.

The way he conveyed the information is exceptional because he accomplished it in a way that offered the reader a place in the book by making it seem like he was speaking to them. Alan added comedy to his work, which made it enjoyable to read. Furthermore, a conscious effort was present to keep the work succinct because Alan always got to the point.

In conclusion, I do not have anything unfavorable to say about the book. It is so engaging that the reader eagerly awaits the subsequent page or chapter. Reconfigurement scores 4 out of 4 stars because the book is informative and amusing. According to the author, adults between the ages of 40 and 50 are in a better position to restructure their life. So I advise them to read this book.
