Reconfigurement, by E. Alan Fleischauer, gives life and financial strategies that can help one pursue their goals and dreams easily. Moreover, in detail, it shows what to do to enable you to live a comfortable and happy life during retirement. While showing how to develop a retirement plan, it examines a lot of topics, such as social security, annuities, survivor benefits, mutual funds, bonds and so on.

In summary, the book is chiefly about "reconfigurement financial planning," which is about reconfiguring your life at any stage and planning ahead, according to the author. Discussing mortgages, health insurance, disability protection, money management, and so forth, it reveals how to plan for retirement in an effective way, which involves before and after retirement activities.

Reconfigurement is interesting and enlightening, full of life and financial tips. I love that it shows how to handle crises in a positive manner, while analysing midlife and late-life crises. Having thought-provoking questions, it's engaging and entertaining. I appreciate the author's casual writing style and love how he included several related jokes to ensure that his readers don't get bored. Honestly, I laughed many times while reading the book. The joke involving "the monastery and nun" is extremely funny. Besides, I love how the author used his personal experiences and other people's stories to buttress his points. There are also URLs for additional information.

Furthermore, the publication unveils several assessments, such as career, work values, and personality assessments, that one can take to help them evaluate their strengths and personalities better. It also includes where to find them online. At the end of the book, the author reveals some books that will show you how to work from home and how to get such jobs.

There's nothing I don't like about Reconfigurement. It's well written, and the author succeeded in presenting his points in a comprehensible way, using simple language. However, the book consists of a lot of financial terms, though Alan ensured that he explained all of them. If you don't like books with many financial terms, you may get bored while reading this one, but I can assure you that Alan's conversational tone and jokes will enchant you.

In conclusion, I rate Reconfigurement 4 out of 4 stars. I didn't give it a lower rating because it's enlightening and entertaining. Moreover, it was exceptionally well edited; I didn't notice any grammar errors or typos in it. It'll be a good read for anyone that is trying to create a sound financial plan for the future.
