Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is one of the eight books in this children's series. This intriguing book tells the escapades of Inca, who is the head of the cat detectives, and her team. This book is interesting and educational. It shows the power of teamwork as they try to solve a national issue.

Inca is the major character in this book. Inca had to travel to Korea because her human mother, Missy, was to serve as the judge in the national cooking competition between North Korea and South Korea. Missy also planned on showing off her special cheese. Missy had an old friend named Enzo who tried to steal her special cheese so she could take credit for it. With the help of her brother, Fromage, and Terrence the dog, Inca will have to stop Enzo from stealing the special cheese. Will they be able to stop him? Get a copy of this book to find out.

There are many positive aspects to this book. Children's books are fun to read. As an adult, it reminds me of my childhood memories. I was impressed by the storyline of this book. It was beyond my expectations. The author did a perfect job with the plot development. The characters all had their own unique personalities. Inca is my favourite character. She was intelligent in carrying out her mission, and above all, she was courageous and fearless. I learned a lot from this book. I learned about the importance of teamwork. I love the team spirit of Inca and her crew. It is worth imitating.

The book was really captivating. I didn't dislike anything in this book. The length of the book was perfect. I also like the cover page of the book. It's attractive, and anyone who sees it would love to read the book. I'm not a fan of cats, but my perspective on cats has changed after reading this book, and I'm considering getting one as a pet and as a friend. I love the author's writing style. The words used were simple and easy to comprehend.

I'm rating this book four out of four stars. I didn't come across any errors in this book. This shows it was exceptionally well-edited. I recommend this book to children between the ages of 7 and 11 years.
